"Going Native in New England"

Save the date: November 7, 2009 SALT (Smaller American Lawns Today) 2009 SYMPOSIUM with featured speaker Douglas W. Tallamy promises to be one of the most informative on the subject of using native plants to promote backyard biodiversity. Professor Tallamy, chair of the department of entomology and wildlife ecology at the University of Delaware, is the author of Bringing Nature Home - How Native Plants Sustain Wildlife in Our Gardens.

The annual Ecological Landscaping Symposium previously held each January will take place March 16 & 17, 2010 at Connecticut College.
